About Your Technician

Hi, I’m Levi.

I’m a piano tuner based out of Northern California. I work with a wide range of clients, from professional musicians and families, to institutions and studios and of course, my mom.

My ideal client is anyone who wants the best for their piano, whatever that means to them. Whether you spent north of $200k on a Steinway B Spirio or Yamaha DCFX, or took your neighbor's old spinet for free when they moved out, my goal is to give you the service you deserve. That's really it. Every piano has a story, and I make it a priority to give that story the respect it deserves.

A little about me. I’m a dedicated tuner/technician with years of experience in private homes, concert halls, and recording studios. I initially apprenticed under one of California’s top technicians, taught piano technology at the Apollo School of Music & Arts, and had the privilege of working and learning from some of the finest piano rebuilders in the San Francisco area.

I have an engineering degree with a background in circuit design, manufacturing, and hand assembly of guitar effects pedals. I love music. Like a lot. I play the bass, piano and a smattering of other instruments. I’ve toured the country in bands, composed for the likes of PBS, had a short stint as a jingle writer and am a regular foley artist for various video games. In my spare time I create educational content for my Tiktok audience of over 100,000 regular viewers. Centered around tuning theory, acoustic science and musicology, the goal for my videos is to find new crossroads between the disciplines of math, science and music, and inspire a new approach to how we think about music.
